Orders placed outside of working hours (evenings, weekends, public holidays) will begin processing the following business day.

Orders are usually dispatched for delivery within the above quoted processing time after your payment has cleared. Courier transit time once dispatched is usually 1-5 business days, depending on our courier partner’s routes and workloads. Outlying regions may take a couple of days longer for delivery. Please remember that couriers do not deliver on weekends or public holidays. We will notify you on the dispatch of your order to our courier partner indicating your order tracking number. If you are provided with a delivery PIN (digital signature) for your shipment, please treat this securely – do not provide the PIN to anyone unless you are in receipt of your package, provision of this number to your delivery person will sanction parcel delivery.

Orders are sent via standard economy shipping; applies within the territory of the Republic of South Africa to street addresses routinely serviced by our national courier.

Remote Areas – Delivery to certain outlying addresses may not be possible or may attract additional delivery surcharges – in this instance we will contact you to discuss delivery options.

International Orders – Please contact us before ordering if you require delivery outside of the Republic of South Africa so that we can quote you on overseas delivery rates.

Made to Order Items – Some products will indicate that they are “Made to Order” – these are made to order by our supplier and, as such, can take longer to be dispatched. If you require a more accurate timeframe for a made to order item, please contact us before ordering.

Special Order Items – Your order will be shipped to South Africa, expected lead times will vary – please contact us for the latest estimated timeframe. Shipping times are an estimate only due to the nature of international freight shipping. Once the stock arrives in South Africa, your order is expected to be fulfilled as above. We will endeavour to keep you updated in this process as information becomes available.

Before you finalise your order, you have the option to indicate any specific delivery instructions in the “order notes” field. We will pass these on to our courier partner for their information.

Combining a durable tanto-style blade with Honey Badger’s ergonomic handle design, the Honey Badger Tanto Medium offers outstanding piercing strength, reliable cutting performance and exceptional comfort in a compact, lightweight package.

Inspired by the short armour-piercing swords used by Samurai in feudal Japan, the tanto blade profile features an angular transition near the tip rather than a traditional curved belly. This distinctive design creates a much stronger and more prominent point, making the blade particularly well suited to piercing tough materials while improving tip durability. Although the original purpose of the tanto was to penetrate armour, its reinforced point has proven equally valuable for modern everyday tasks where precision and strength are required.

Manufactured from durable 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the blade provides an excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance and ease of maintenance.
