Orders placed outside of working hours (evenings, weekends, public holidays) will begin processing the following business day.

Orders are usually dispatched for delivery within the above quoted processing time after your payment has cleared. Courier transit time once dispatched is usually 1-5 business days, depending on our courier partner’s routes and workloads. Outlying regions may take a couple of days longer for delivery. Please remember that couriers do not deliver on weekends or public holidays. We will notify you on the dispatch of your order to our courier partner indicating your order tracking number. If you are provided with a delivery PIN (digital signature) for your shipment, please treat this securely – do not provide the PIN to anyone unless you are in receipt of your package, provision of this number to your delivery person will sanction parcel delivery.

Orders are sent via standard economy shipping; applies within the territory of the Republic of South Africa to street addresses routinely serviced by our national courier.

Made to Order Items – Some products will indicate that they are “Made to Order” – these are made to order by our supplier and, as such, can take longer to be dispatched. If you require a more accurate timeframe for a made to order item, please contact us before ordering.

Special Order Items – Your order will be shipped to South Africa, expected lead times will vary – please contact us for the latest estimated timeframe. Shipping times are an estimate only due to the nature of international freight shipping. Once the stock arrives in South Africa, your order is expected to be fulfilled as above. If you’re taking your first steps into camping or only occasionally use a sleeping bag, the Vango Atlas 250 sleeping bag makes an ideal choice. Its a great value for money sleeping bag that doesn’t compromise on quality either. This mummy style sleeping bag has a 2 season rating, which will happily see you through camping trips in the mild weather from late spring through to early autumn.

The 8.5 TOG single hole hollow fibre insulation gives you a comfortable night’s sleep and also provides warmth and retains loft in damp conditions. the insulation is held firmly in place by the S pattern stitching to ensure even filling distribution minimizing cold spots.

The mummy shape of this sleeping bag has two advantages over rectangular bags. Firstly, it minimises carry weight and packing size and, secondly, the reduced air volume inside and closer fit to the body are more thermally efficient, keeping you warmer. The shaped hood reduces heat loss from the head while the draw cord closure allows adjustment of the hood for controllable heat retention.

The Vango Atlas 250 sleeping bag has a two-way auto-lock zip to seal in warmth and provide adjustable ventilation. The auto-lock prevents the bag from opening during the night and can be accessed from inside the bag. When it’s time to pack away, the Atlas 250 comes with a colour coordinated draw cord stuff sack for easy storage and transport.
